Hi, I’m Isha!
I write about the strange, overlooked, and oddly revealing things we all do—often without realizing we’re doing them.
I studied neuroscience and statistics at the University of Michigan, which taught me how the brain works—or at least thinks it does. I’ve always been drawn to the space where logic meets instinct. Behavioral science felt like the missing link: it gave structure to the chaos and language to all the irrational ways we move through the world.
The Behavioral Backdoor is where I blend science with storytelling, logic with humor, and theory with all the moments we usually scroll past. I’m not here to preach habits or hacks—just to make sense of human behavior, one small quirk at a time.
Outside the blog, I work in behavioral science and innovation—designing interventions, conducting research, and translating cognitive insights into strategy. Whether it’s behavioral mapping, survey design, or exploring social change, my work centers on how small shifts in context can lead to meaningful behavior change.
If you’re open to peeking into human behavior—quietly, curiously, and maybe a little too closely—then welcome in, through the backdoor.
